2013 Graduation Money Card and Envelope Project
It's that time of year again! Many of our children are graduating, and it is time to honor their achievements with gifts and graduation parties. This card is very easy to make if you have a die cut machine. Just cut it out, glue the silver foil and card stock backings, and there you have it! There is even a template included to make a matching envelope. How great is that?
There is also a pdf file included if you have no machine. Just cut it out by hand.Use an xacto knife and take your time, and you will have an easy to make graduation money holder card in practically no time!
Supplies Needed:
- Card Stock Paper
- Silver Foil Gift Wrapping (this is much shinier and cheaper than scrapbook paper )
- Glue Stick
Instructions:
- Download free die cut and pdf graduation card template files here.
- Cut the cut out using on an 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock.
- Turn the card over, and glue squares of silver foil paper to the top on bottom sections of the card. Make sure the shiny side of the foil paper is visible on the front side of the card.
- Fold the bottom flap, so the the front of the card is visible as in step four of the above photo. Glue the side edges of the card down.
- Cut a square of card stock the same size as the top flap. Glue the square cardstock onto the back of the top card flap to hide the silver wrapping paper square.
- The card itself is now finished. It is always nice to make a matching enevelope so I have included a template to make an appropriately sized envelope for this card. Download the envelope template here.
- Cut the envelope out of a piece of 12 x 12 matching cardstock.
- Glue the edges of the envelope and let dry. When dry insert the card (only after you fill it with cash :) ) and give it to the lucky graduate!
Easy printable baby girl announcement card

Supplies:
- Download printable PDF files
- One digital baby photo, or wallet size 2.5 x 3.5 baby photo print.
- 3/8 inch white grosgrain ribbon
- ruler
- xacto knife
- 10 mm corner punch
- glue runner
- bone folder
Instructions:
- Print out Front and back inserts of card onto bright white cardstock, if you are using a digital image place the image onto a bottom layer with your digital imaging software, otherwise just print out and then cut out 2.25 x 3.25 in square and place wallet size print behind cut out hole. Attach photo by runnning a little bit of glue runner on the edge of photo.
- Cut out front carefully with xacto knife and ruler.
- Use bone folder and ruler to score fold in middle.
- Fold front of card in half.
- Use 10mm corner punch to round out all corner of card.
- Cut out inserts with xacto knife and ruler, then use corner punch on all corners.
- Cut a 3/8 inch slit onto the middle right and left sides of the front of card.
- Cut 2 lengths of white grosgrain ribbon about 4 inches long.
- Insert each ribbon into slits from front and attach to back with a little bit of glue from glue runner.
- Run glue along the back edges of both inserts and place onto the inside of card. Use the photos above for placement guidance.
Origami Valentine Greeting Card
Valentine's Day is a great day to show those close to you how much you appreciate them and love them!This origami valentine card is super easy to make. It is so much fun that you will want to make several for all of your friends for Valentines Day. Let those special people know just how much they mean to you!
Supplies:
- One 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper
- Six hearts that are aprx. 2.5 inches high, and 2.5 inches wide out of the paper of your choice.
- scissors
- Glue Stick
- bone folder
Instructions:
- Put the paper in landscape view and fold it horizontally. Then use a bone folder to press the fold in place. Open the paper so that it is in the original landscape view again..

- Then make the next fold, and the fold the paper vertically. Use the bone folder to press this fold into place.

- Now fold both open ends towards the middle. Use bone folder, and open the paper back to the previous position.

- The paper should now look like this image.
Using your scissors cut a straight line along the red cut line up to the center of the paper, - Using both hands grasp each side of the cut pieces and pull towards the outside as in this image.

- Your card should now have eight sides, and look like this image.

- Fold the paper into a booklet form and glue the hearts onto the six inside pages.
- Write your sentiments on the card, and present it to the one you love!
